Skippers, please note that you may purchase additional meals for your crew when you sign-up. If not, please advise your crew that they will need to sign-up if they want to eat. Speaking of food, Maria’s Gourmet Catering will be providing a yummy post-race buffet Saturday afternoon including:
Sesame Crusted chicken tenders with dipping sauce
Sliced London Broil with horsey sauce
Garden Salad with 2 dressings
Ice tea and sweets!
If you have a non-sailing family member or friend that would be willing to assist with the Regatta, we could use a few hands with shore support, race committee, and/or food pickups. Please reply to David Duff if you can assist.
This year LTYC has registered the Mayor’s Cup as a Clean Regatta. Clean Regattas is a certification system that enables sailors to protect their local waters with 25 Best Practicesthat make sustainability approachable and easy. This program is an effort by Sailors for the Sea raising the bar for environmental sustainability and ocean health around the world. Your choices will make a difference. Here are a few ways you can help during the race:
· Members and guests should bring their own reusable water bottles and coffee cups (coffee and water provided on site)
· Eliminate straws
· Properly sort all trash and recyclables to minimize waste going to the landfill.
Finally, LTYC would like to thank the following sponsors for help underwriting this year’s Mayor’s Cup:
